Captures New Forest Wildlife and Landscapes
St Barbe Museum & Art Gallery, Lymington: 17th March – 28th April

St Barbe Museum & Art Gallery, Lymington will be displaying a collection of oil and watercolour paintings by artist Andrew Stock between 17th March and 28th April. From Copse to Coast captures the stunning wildlife and landscapes of the nearby New Forest National Park, where he worked for much of the past year.
The Dorset-based artist, who is also President of the Society of Wildlife Artists, spent time around Hale Purlieu at the northern end of the Forest painting the rolling heath and abundant wildlife such as the Dartford Warbler. He also worked along the Beaulieu River and the coast near Lymington, sketching a variety of birds as well as the glorious views across the Solent.
Tickets to the museum, which is open between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, cost £4 for adults, £3 for senior citizens and students, £2 for children aged five to 15, and £10 for a family of two adults and up to four children; under fives are admitted free of charge.
