Baroque Ardor

My partner Jill and I operate our business from my husbands  farm at the foot of the Marlborough Downs in a village called Liddington.

We hand pick and hand paint vintage and antique furniture, re upholster antique chairs, and design Bespoke cushions. .I'm sure you have seen our web site www.baroque-ardor.co.uk.

Jill has been painting for 20 years or so and knows everything there is to know about painted finishes and how to achieve them.

We are not shabby chic, but smart country chic with a twist! We choose chalky colours for our furniture that will blend with most colour schemes, and quality fabrics for our cushions and chairs such as wool tweeds, velvets, cords, linens and we love to finish things off with vintage buttons and buckles and trim with metallic linens and brogue suede and leather! It's all yummy stuff, at least we think so!!
